The colour is in the reflected light, so the fabric reads as a coloured textile in daylight and lights up in that colour when a light is aimed at it. It is used where the reflective element is part of a colour scheme rather than a neutral safety marking.

Manufactured at our own factory and supplied direct, so the build approved on your sample is the build that repeats on the order.

Specification

Code: RS-F-FB-18

Reflected colour: Fluorescent Yellow

Base: Reflective textile

Width: Up to 140 cm

Attachment: Sewn or heat applied

Colour matching: Against an approved sample at order

Lead time: Two to four weeks from confirmed specification

Conformity: Assessed on the finished garment against EN ISO 20471, ANSI/ISEA 107 or GB 20653; test documentation for the construction is confirmed with the quotation

Typical use

Colour-coded workwear, sports and team kit, fashion outerwear, bags and accessories — where the garment colour and the reflective colour have to agree.

Fluorescent yellow is a background colour, not a reflective one

Yellow is the colour most associated with hi-vis, but on a reflective surface the colour layer is what costs the brightness.
