Reflective Fabric for PPE

We manufacture. Reflective tape and film for workwear, personal protective equipment and road safety are produced at our own factory and supplied direct, not resold. Each construction on this page is fixed by base fabric, bead build, reflectivity and wash rating, so the tape approved for a garment is the tape that repeats on the next order. Yes. Samples are cut to the width you are evaluating, so the trim is tested on your own sewing line rather than judged from a photograph. Tell us the base fabric, the care programme and the reflectivity class the garment has to reach, and the sample is cut against that construction.

Conformance belongs to the finished garment, not to the tape on its own. State the standard and the class the garment has to reach — EN ISO 20471, ANSI/ISEA 107 or GB 20653 — and we will match the construction to it and confirm the test documentation available for that build with the quotation. Yes. The standard range runs from 1 cm to 140 cm slit width. Beyond width, custom covers face colour, base fabric, perforating for breathability and laser cutting to the garment pattern — see Custom Reflective Tape, quoted on the drawing or the pattern.

In three stages: incoming inspection of the base cloth, glass beads and adhesive; process control through coating, lamination and slitting; and outgoing sampling for appearance, colour difference and retroreflective performance. Retroreflective coefficient is measured rather than judged by eye, which is what keeps one batch matching the next.

TC is a polyester–cotton blend: softer hand, better drape, and the usual choice for garments washed often and cut into narrow trims. Polyester is stronger and more dimensionally stable, which suits industrial laundering and high-brightness builds. Both appear in the range — RS-F-HQ-01 and RS-F-HQ-02 are TC, RS-F-HQ-03 and RS-F-HQ-04 are polyester.

Small quantities are handled case by case rather than refused outright. Send the code and the quantity you need, and we will confirm whether it can run with a scheduled production batch or has to wait for one.

Standard constructions run two to four weeks from confirmed specification. Custom work - perforating, laser cutting to a pattern, or a non-standard width and base - adds to that and is dated individually. Quantity affects scheduling, so the exact date is confirmed with the quotation rather than estimated afterwards.
