About us

Reflexstrip

Reflexstrip supplies reflective materials for workwear, personal protective equipment and road safety.

Company

Getting the material right matters more than offering more of it

Company

A reflective material looks like a piece of cloth or a strip of tape, but its performance is decided by three things: the retroreflective structure of the glass beads, the way substrate and adhesive layer are bonded, and where it finally ends up being used. If any one of the three does not match, the finished product underperforms in the field.

So we split the work in two: first confirm the application, target market and applicable standard with the user, then settle the material structure and supply format. That conversation looks slow, but it prevents finishing a whole batch before discovering it went the wrong way.

Milestones

What we currently cover

The following are the capability areas we cover today.

Reflective material supply

Built supply capability for reflective fabric, tape and film.

Entering fire retardancy

Added FR fabric and FR reflective composite to cover dual-function needs.

Extending into conversion

Extended from roll goods into finished reflective and FR workwear.

Service coverage

Expansion across service regions and export markets.

Quality control

Reflective performance has to be measured, not felt

Quality control

Retroreflective coefficient is a measurable figure. Batch-to-batch consistency comes from three stages: incoming inspection, process control and outgoing sampling. Specific test items and frequency are confirmed with us.

  • Incoming inspection: base cloth, glass beads and adhesive raw materials
  • Process control: parameters through coating, lamination and slitting
  • Outgoing sampling: appearance, colour difference and retroreflective performance

Standards

Common target-market standards

Markets differ in the mandatory or recommended standards they apply to high-visibility and fire-retardant clothing. State your target market when requesting a quote and we will match the material accordingly.

Common industry standards (for reference)

  • EN ISO 20471 — High visibility clothing
  • ANSI/ISEA 107 — High-visibility safety apparel
  • GB 20653 — Protective clothing: occupational high-visibility warning clothing
  • EN ISO 11612 — Protective clothing against heat and flame
  • EN 469 — Protective clothing for firefighters
  • GB 8965.1 — Flame-retardant clothing
