Two codes sit under this listing, RS-F-HQ-01 and RS-F-HQ-03. Grey is a different grade from silver rather than a colour variant of it, so the coefficient is quoted per order together with the test method and the wash cycle, not read off the colour name.
Grey and silver are not the same grade
Grey usually signals the economy end of the range: a lower-brightness metallic face that reads neutral by day. It is the right choice where the tape is decorative or the specification is loose, and the wrong one where a measured value matters - so ask for the figure rather than the colour name.

Typical use
Chosen where the reflective element has to stay visually quiet indoors and in daylight while still returning light at night: decorative and accent trim, bag and footwear detailing, and workwear programmes whose specification does not tie the trim to a measured brightness class. Where a class does apply, ask for the measured figure and compare it against the silver grade before committing.
What to confirm before ordering
- Measured coefficient and test method: a figure without its method is not comparable between suppliers.
- Wash cycle: domestic or industrial - the adhesive changes with the cycle.
- Substrate or shell fabric: send it, so the bond can be matched rather than assumed.
- Width and slitting: state the finished width, since slitting changes the edge.
Compliance note
No single retroreflective figure is quoted for this build, and a number without its test method and wash cycle would not be comparable anyway. Confirm the measured value for the grade you order, on the substrate you order it on.
If the finished article has to carry an EN ISO 20471 or ANSI/ISEA 107 claim, say so before the order: the grade and the evidence are chosen together, and changing either afterwards means a new build.
