Overview
A grey knitted liner with a black nitrile palm dip. Nitrile is chosen where the hand meets light oil, coolant or abrasion, and it keeps grip in a way a plain knit glove does not. The back stays open knit so the hand does not cook.
Construction
- Seamless knitted liner
- Nitrile palm and finger coating
- Elastic knitted cuff
- Open knit back for breathability
Where it fits
General assembly, warehouse handling, light maintenance and any task that needs grip on dry or lightly oily parts without a full dipped glove. Confirm the required EN 388 score at order stage if the task involves cut risk.
Coated palm, open back, and that is a deliberate compromise
A palm dip puts nitrile where the hand meets the part and leaves the back open so the glove breathes. Fully dipped gloves keep liquids out but hold sweat in, and a glove that makes the hand hot gets taken off and then not put back on, which is the failure that matters more than any test result. Nitrile is the right coating for light oil and coolant. It is not a cut-resistant glove and it is not chemical-protective, and those two are routinely confused when gloves are bought by colour instead of by test result.
What to confirm before ordering
- The hazard, not the product name: Cut, abrasion, tear, puncture, chemical and heat are separate tests. Naming the hazard is what lets the right test result be supplied.
- The level your risk assessment requires: For cut, that is the cut level letter or number. Without it a glove is chosen by feel and then justified afterwards.
- Grip surface: Dry, oily or wet parts change which coating is correct.
- Size run and cuff length: A glove that is too long at the cuff catches; too short and it gaps at the wrist.
- Any food-contact or medical requirement: Those are separate approvals with their own documentation.
Compliance note
Glove performance is a row of test results, not a single rating. Abrasion, cut, tear and puncture are separate tests on separate scales, and a glove that scores well on one can score poorly on another. A performance row is not printed on this page because it belongs to a specific test report for a specific article. State the hazard and the level your risk assessment requires, and the corresponding test report is supplied with the order; that report is what a safety auditor will accept in place of a claim on a website.

Samples and lead time
Sample pieces are supplied before a bulk order so your team can check fit, finish and marking on the actual article. Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation.
