Overview
Reflective tape construction intended for repeated laundering. Laundering test basis, width and unit pricing are confirmed on quotation.
Two codes are issued under this listing, RS-F-IW-01 and RS-F-IW-02. The laundering basis is quoted per order because the cycle - temperature, chemistry and mechanical action - is what the build is tested against, and a cycle count without it does not carry.
Industrial washing is a different test
Domestic and industrial laundering differ in temperature, chemistry and mechanical action, and a tape rated for home washes is not automatically rated for a commercial laundry. State the actual cycle you will run: the adhesive changes with it.

Typical use
Workwear and uniform programmes that launder centrally: rental and managed-uniform services, industrial laundry contracts, and garments where the reflective trim has to survive the same cycle count as the shell fabric. Also specified where a home-wash rating alone is not enough evidence for the buyer's own quality file.
What to confirm before ordering
- Measured coefficient and test method: a figure without its method is not comparable between suppliers.
- Wash cycle: domestic or industrial - the adhesive changes with the cycle.
- Substrate or shell fabric: send it, so the bond can be matched rather than assumed.
- Width and slitting: state the finished width, since slitting changes the edge.
Compliance note
No single retroreflective figure is quoted for this build, and a number without its test method and wash cycle would not be comparable anyway. Confirm the measured value for the grade you order, on the substrate you order it on.
If the finished article has to carry an EN ISO 20471 or ANSI/ISEA 107 claim, say so before the order: the grade and the evidence are chosen together, and changing either afterwards means a new build.
